Nintendo is again showing everyone that gaming is all about what you do and not just what you see.
After the Nintendo Switch event in Tokyo, Nintendo managed to effectively communicate what its new console is, what it does and why you’re going to want one when it releases in March next year.
Here is the presentation of Nintendo Switch, If you haven't seen it yet get a cup of coffee ,PopCorn and prepare yourself because it's worth seeing :D
I think the Joy-Cons are by far the most important aspect to the Nintendo Switch. They not only afford motion controls with higher definition force feedback but they also directly facilitate the Switch’s portability to be a local gaming hub.
Most people seem to devalue the Switch on the fact that it is either an at home console or a handheld. What I took from the presentation is the way you could use the screen separate from the Joy-Con pads and use it to play with friends on the move.
This is something that no other modern system, handheld or otherwise, really offers in a holistic plug-and-play package. The Joy-Con pads are what directly facilitate this and it is something that could result in the Switch superseding its current competition.
Nintendo is all about bringing people into gaming. The special thing in Nintendo Switch is that Nintendo DS and the Wii brought people in with their then new approaches to input while The Switch has the potential to bring people together by sharing pads on a portable console and introduce gaming to an all-new audience

The Nintendo Switch then is something that could succeed in a similar way and, again, it’s all down to what you can do with a game and the Joy-Cons are the crux of that. Not only do they have the potential to make the Switch a more social gaming hub, the Joy-Cons facilitate traditional console gaming input as well. In short, the Switch's killer feature isn't really its portability but its controllers.
