Nintendo confirmed that the Wii U's Mario Kart 8 is making its way to the Nintendo Switch in the form of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.The game will be released on April 28.
The Battle Mode has also been updated to include Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, including new courses like Urchin Underpass and Battke Stadium, as well as returning ones, such as Gamecube Luigi's Mansion and SNES Battle Course 1.
So What's in the game ?
The Deluxe edition will feature evey track from the Wii U version including DLC. Plus, the return of King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr along with the appereance of Inkling Gril and Inkling Boy from Splatoon as all-new guest characters.The Battle Mode has also been updated to include Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, including new courses like Urchin Underpass and Battke Stadium, as well as returning ones, such as Gamecube Luigi's Mansion and SNES Battle Course 1.

The addition to true local multi-player is exciting because it's a throwback to the old SNES days of getting a few friends together and competing in the same room.
And yes, the Switch's JoyCon controller will be put use here, as gamers can each use a piece of the controller to play.
